Sydney Schubert Society Inc (Australia): The Sydney Schubert Society Inc. was founded in Sydney, Australia in 1953. The society presents a series of regular "Schubertiades" and lectures and also publishes a newsletter.
Schubert Society Danmark: The Danish Schubert Society web site.
Société Franz Schubert: The Société Franz Schubert is the French equivalent of SIUK. They also have a web site. The webmaster is Christophe Le Gall, who is also a member of SIUK. It is in French (of course) and still very much a work in progress, with relatively little content, which we can expect to grow over time. It looks much nicer than our site since Christophe appears to be more technically competent, and certainly has more spare time than me! Well worth a visit!

Schubert Society of the USA: A newly formed (2003) Schubert society in the USA, headed by long time SIUK member, Janet Wasserman.
Schubertbund, Vienna: Site for the Schubertbund, a male voice choir from Vienna which was founded in 1863. They have a fascinating collection of Schubertiana in their museum, including a small piece of Schubert's rib, removed (I believe) by Andreas Schubert during one of Schubert's exhumations !

Notes on Franz Schubert by Bart Berman: Bart Berman is a pianist who specialises in Schubert and contemporary music performances. The site includes articles on Franz Schubert, some of the Schubert piano duets and all of the Schubert unfinished piano sonatas and their endings.

Der Wanderer: An independent Schubert enthusiasts site from Jaume Figueras. The Spanish Schubert Association has some information on this site. Jaume also has a bibliography of Spanish Schubert books, and a gallery of pictures.
ADG Paris: ADG Paris is a non profit organisation: their goal is to promote the artist Monsegur Vaillant who sings to her own accompaniment "Die schöne Müllerin".You can listen to a more than 30 real audio samples on their Web site.

Neue Schubert-Ausgabe: Web site of the NSA. They have a comprehensive page of Schubert links.
Schubert Lieder Texts: Emily Ezust has a varied site with a number of interesting links elsewhere. Her pages are a source of texts of Schubert (and many other composers') Lieder, entered by Emily and a number of enthusiastic (but undoubtedly eccentric) helpers, including myself. Schubert wrote such a large number of Lieder in his short life (650-700 or so, depending upon how you decide to treat part songs, variants, fragments etc.), that it is very difficult to wrap your brain around them all. These pages include the text for over 600 of these Lieder.
Classical MIDI: This wonderful site has a lot of Classical MIDI files from all sorts of composers, including a number of Schubert's works, mainly songs.
Schubertline: A site that lets you hear and view vocal scores, and get cheap printed copies.
Schubert's Works: Paul Geffen has posted web pages with details of most of Schubert's works, together with some recommended recordings. However, don't forget that there is a complete listing of the Works in our pages, though without any recommended recordings.
Winterreise & Kosegarten Song Cycle: Margo Briessinck in Brussels runs a little Winterreise specific site, with reviews, translations, etc. He also has a site about he newly discovered Kosegarten Song Cycle, with introduction, etc., by the discoverer, Morten Solvik.

Historisches Museum der Stadt Wien: Page on the Schubert museums in Vienna, with several nice pictures, in German, of course.
aeiou.film: Page with a 30 second clip of old (not dated: perhaps from the 1930's) film of the birthhouse in MPEG form
Tomoko Yamamoto's Schubert Pictures: Tomoko Yamamoto has recently put up Web pages, which include a Schubert project. She started taking photographs of Schubert-related places in 1994, and has been back for 3 years. Her Schubert project is a multimedia show of Schubert's trip to Upper Austria and Badgastein.

Classical Net: This is probably the most comprehensive Classical Music site on the net, with lots of links, articles, basic repertories and much more. This should be on everyone's bookmark list. Run by Dave Lampson, who also runs a moderated classical music mailing list (details at the above site) with over 400 subscribers. Amongst interesting recent threads has been a series of postings about Schubert's 10th Symphony.
