Technical Stuff

These pages are designed
to be used with modern browsers such as Netscape 4 or above, or
Internet Explorer 4 or above. I develop on a pc and do the majority
of testing under Internet Explorer 4, though I do try to run the
completed versions past Netscape to check for any major problems. I
have no facilities to test on environments other than a pc.
The
pages will work under VGA resolutions, at a pinch, but are really
designed for higher resolutions. They work OK at 800x600, but are
better still at 1024x768, or higher.
The Java scripts to
manage the contents bar (Top Navigational Bar 4) are © Andy
Wooley. They are used with permission, and feature on

After a fair amount of experimentation
with a variety of HTML generation programs, from word processor
add-ons to stand alone pieces of shareware to beta versions of
commercial software, I now use HoT MetaL Pro Version 4
from SoftQuad Inc,
which I find more than adequate for the purpose.
